On Friday May 9, 2008 ABC Golden Gate Chapter held their 29th Golf Classic at Wente Vineyards in Livermore.

ABC Golden Gate Chapter is proud to Announce:
Ronald McDonald House Charities of Northern California has honored the Golden Gate Chapter as their Non-Profit Group Volunteer of the year.
The celebration took place at the Sacramento Ronald McDonald House on April 24, 2008 This award is due to the hard work and dedication of our painting apprentices at the direction of our excellent painting instructor, James Garcia. For the past few years, our painintg apprentices have spent countless hours at the Ronald McDonald House in Sacramento helping paint the interior and exterior of the facility.
The Sacramento Ronald McDonald house is a non-profit organization whose mission is to help children and their families by providing an atmosphere where families can rest, reflect, and find mutual support. This home-away-from-home provides comfort and support to families who must travel many miles to seek medical treatment for their sick children. The house offers family members of seriously ill and injured children a refuge from the hospital room.

Arthur Morris was honored as the "Apprentice of the Year" at the 2007 ABC Apprentice Graduation on October 12, 2007. The ceremony took place at The Bridges Golf Club in San Ramon.
