Associated Builders and Contractors presented its Contractor of the Year Award to Napa, California-
based general engineering contractor NOVA Group, Inc., one of the nation's premier government contractors specializing in hydrant fueling, waterfront and utility construction, at its National Convention in San Juan, Puerto Rico. ABC presents this prestigious award to an ABC member or member firm that has demonstrated significant accomplishment for the association, the merit shop and the construction industry.
Co-founded in 1976 by President Ron Fedrick, NOVA Group began its history by building steam lines at the decommissioned Mare Island Naval Shipyard in Vallejo, California. Today, the company employs more than 200 construction professionals worldwide, and has annual revenue approaching $100 million.
