More Members, More Clout!
As the economy is proving to be somewhat challenging and the political climate continues to change, ABC is fighting even harder to keep bidding free and open so you can fairly and competitively bid on projects. ABC has seen an increase in union attempts to place Project Labor Agreements (PLAs) on public works projects, as well as an increase in job targeting on private work. It is imperative, now more than ever, that the merit shop contractors ban together to stop the implementation of PLAs, job targeting and discrimination, so you and all merit shop contractors can bid competitively. The more members ABC has supporting us, the more clout we will wield in all areas of the state and the stronger and more effective we will be in keeping this an open bidding environment. We need YOU to be a part of the revolution.
