The National Safety Excellence Awards are presented during the Excellence in Construction Awards program to be held June 24 at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, D.C. These awards recognize companies for outstanding long-term safety performance and commitment to proactive safety training strategies.
A maximum of 63 companies – less than 4 percent of all STEP applicants – will be selected as finalists for this prestigious award in the three North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) construction categories (236, 237 and 238) and seven man-hour categories.
