ABC Nov. 11 announced that it named Jason R. Daisey vice president of finance and promoted Doug Curtis to vice president of chapter services, a new position in the association.
Daisey previously served as executive vice president and chief financial officer of North Texas Public Broadcasting, Inc. (KERA), the Public Broadcasting Service television and National Public Radio affiliate in Dallas. At ABC, he will oversee and direct the finance and facilities management/office services, as well as provide financial oversight for ABC affiliated organizations including ABC Services Corp., Construction Legal Rights Foundation and Trimmer Education Foundation.
“Jason brings a wealth of experience in finance, operations and management, all of which will benefit our members and chapters tremendously,” said ABC President and CEO Kirk Pickerel. “It is a pleasure to welcome Jason into the ABC family.”
Since 1999, Curtis has served as ABC’s director of chapter development. In his new position, Curtis will be responsible for the creation and delivery of programs and services to assist ABC’s 79 chapters in reaching the highest levels of performance in terms of membership growth and professional development.
“With this appointment, Doug is being recognized for his excellent service in the chapter relations area over the past 10 years,” said Pickerel. “He is perfectly positioned to take on these new challenges and responsibilities.”
