ABC members can now enter projects for the 20th Annual Excellence in Construction Awards competition and take advantage of the opportunity to stand out from the crowd and be recognized by their peers.
The Excellence in Construction Awards program is the industry’s leading competition, developed to honor innovative and high-quality merit shop construction projects and safety programs. Award winners demonstrate leadership, innovation and safety in the construction industry.
In today’s highly competitive economy, contractors need to take advantage of every opportunity to distinguish their company during the bidding process in order to beat the competition and win more work. Past winners have capitalized on their awards by displaying them for potential clients and announcing them on their websites and in the local media.
The 20th Annual Excellence in Construction Awards program will be held Feb. 4, 2010 at the ABC National Convention in San Diego, Calif. During the awards ceremony, the nation’s top construction projects from 2009 and the U.S. construction industry’s safest companies will be honored before an audience of ABC members, as well as friends and family.
To be eligible for a 2009 Excellence in Construction award, projects must be completed and registered online by Saturday, Oct. 31. Each project must be contained in a binder and sent to ABC’s national office, with a postmark no later than Friday, Nov. 13. To enter your project in the competition online, visit
