2010 ABC National Safety Excellence Award applications are now available online by clicking
here. The deadline for applications is Sept. 24.
The National Safety Excellence Award recognizes outstanding long-term safety performance and a company’s total commitment to proactive safety training strategies. A maximum of 63 companies – less than 3 percent of all STEP applicants – will be selected as finalists for this award in the three North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) construction categories (236, 237 and 238) and seven man-hour categories. All 2010 Safety Training Evaluation Process (STEP) Platinum recipients are eligible to apply.
The National Safety Excellence Awards will be presented during the 21st annual Excellence in Construction Awards program, to be held Feb. 22, 2011 at ABC's premier event, BizCon, at the Waldorf-Astoria in Orlando, Fla.
